Daniel Bossi is Ristorante LUCCA’s esteemed Sommelier, responsible for sourcing and curating an exceptional wine menu representing the finest vineyards from every region of Italy. Under Daniel’s direction, all wines served at Ristorante LUCCA are rated over 90 points, and the robust wine selection is adjusted seasonally.

A recognized expert in the country’s regional wineries, Daniel works with established Sommeliers at vineyard estates throughout Italy to hand-select only premier, fine Italian wines. Daniel is committed to ensuring Ristorante LUCCA features the most extensive list of Italian wines, including Gaja wines, Metodo Classico sparkling wines, many dessert wines, and more to build the most enviable, robust wine cellar of any restaurant in all of New Jersey.

At Ristorante LUCCA, Daniel promises guests will experience wines from every region of Italy, from Valle D'Aosta to Sicily, allowing the customer to experience not just the best Italian wines, but also the best Italian-kept secrets.

 In addition to building an Italian-only wine list, Daniel also creates delectable food and wine pairings for every dish (along with substitutions for non-Italian wines), and unique special events at Ristorante LUCCA designed to inspire a deeper love and appreciation for Italian wine and cuisine.

 A descendant from Monferrato, Italy and a fourth-generation winemaker (at Mountain View Winery since 2002), Daniel is Vice President, Sommelier, for The Caterina de’Medici Gastronomic Society, and a National Wine School Certified Advanced Sommelier specializing in Italian wines.
